Can i use my SIM card on my next visit to ISRAEL?
Sure, and this is a good reason to use our SIM card.

You can also give it to a friend or family member and Activate it again with one of our PLANS.
Once you're finished using it, it becomes one of our Empty SIM cards and you can keep it for your next visit to Israel.
How do I know if my phone is locked or unlocked?
To determine if your phone is locked, if you haven't already purchased a FroRide Israeli SIM card then call your wireless provider. If you have already purchased from us then insert the FroRide Israeli SIM card. If you get any of the following messages on your screen after entering the pin then your phone is locked:
  • Insert SIM 
  • SIM not valid 
  • SIM Card Not Accepted 
  • Enter Restriction Code 
  • Enter Special Code 
  • Enter Subsidy Code 
  • Enter Subsidy Password 
  • Contact Service Provider (Motorola)
or any other similar messages!
 
Some mobile phone carriers lock their phones so they can't be used with other carriers. The simplest way to find out if the phone is locked is to borrow a SIM card from anybody who is using a different mobile service provider. If you power-up the phone and it recognizes the SIM card, your phone is unlocked and FroRide SIM card will work as well.
How do i install my SIM card?
Put the correct size inside the SIM slot of your phone (The SIM card is equipped with all 3 available-sizes)
For phone calls, the phone will recognize HOT MOBILE carrier.
For data, you will get SMS from number 610 with a link (you need to be connected to a WIFI), click on the link and it will install the configurations.
If you didn't get SMS, just send SMS with "APN" to 610 and you will get SMS back with the link.
For some smartphones (specially in new ones) you don't need to do anything, and it will start work right after you installed you SIM.

If you didn't get a link, you can do it manually:
Settings --> Cellular networks --> activate Data roaming
  1. Settings --> Cellular networks --> Access Point Names --> Add new (+) as followed:
    • Name: HOT mobile
    • APN: net.hotm
    • MCC: 425
    • MNC: 7
    • APN type: default (some devices internet instead of default)
    • SAVE and mark it as active by clicking on the radio box near its name
Can I make calls to other countries besides ISRAEL
Yes, you will be able to make unlimited calls to 35 Destinations included in the program.

USA and CANADA to mobiles and landlines.
All Other countries to landlines.

Can I use SMS and MMS?
Yes you can. You can send SMS, MMS and even make Video Calls only in Israel.
You cannot send SMS ot SMS to other country.
